I think I'm more capable of offering useful insight about written stories , though, than music or art. Also, did you know that Indian musical scale has 9 notes and western has 7 ? Tim told me this. Here's my tentative come my fanatics review. Come My Fanatics . . . . ( Book ) Review "[ The upside down ankh ] also resembles a vagina through which the audience is born , screaming , into the bands domain. Through the cunt of electric wizard you enter the world of eternal death. " As a devotee of the electric wizard cult since I was 17, this book has been illuminating. The first chapter begins a little slow in terms of writing composition but the author soon finds his legs and gives us a passionate look into the history of the heaviest doom metal band. One of the best parts of this book is a lovely selected works section including music , literature , and cinema. Much of that literature I've already read which is why I can tell you - it's a great list. I've also been able to discover a lot of music I like from this book. Previously just by searching for doom metal ( A bit difficult in prison too ) I often found stuff which wasn't the sound or vibe I was looking for. This book presented me with all sorts of music that's either the inspiration for or inspired by or toured with electric wizard. So , that's really cool. Its also been great to learn a lot of stuff about the line up I needed to know. Its fantastic. 5 stars.
