Prison Blog

In which Possum recounts his experiences as an offender in the system.

Possum Bones is autistic. He has identified as a dirty kid in the past, and he’s attended multiple rainbow gatherings. He has several years left to serve in the Washington Correctional system.

He has been making art since he could sit up. He communicates better in writing than speech. If you are interested in the experience of an autistic person doing prison time, check out his Prison Blog. If you are a fan of comic art, underground/outsider music, Lovecraft, Clarke Ashton Smith, Murakami, Cixui Liu, etc.

illness notes

The speed of this illness is remarkable ... reminds me of mIRSA. Some pathogens are like being mauled by an animal. In the morning youve got an itch and by 12 that night youve got a throbbing abscess... Thats mirsa , i mean ... This morning i had a tickle and now my head is in a really distracting amount of pain ... Probably a fever too. These organisms really are some of the most fascinating on our planet. Parasites are cooler . I remember being really impressed by the extreme life cycles of parasites we studied in high school . Talk about an extremophile ... Really, what environment could be more extreme than the inside of an organism colossal in size relative to the size of the parasite. But tight quarters all the same. I salute the parasites , viruses, pathogenic fungi , and other microbial menaces of the world . Thy symmetry is truly fearful.
