Samurai Jack

This new samurai jack is fucking awesome. Ashi is looking for jack and she runs into various of his allies. She gets to the Rave Slaves. I was like omg, omg, its the rave slaves. Only this time its like more adult ( the show has grown with its viewers I guess ) and like, theres some serious animated tail bouncing around. And its totally badass, they did a whole friggin song. Like, all these funky elements too, reminds me of Samurai Champloo, like Nujabes. Ashi finds jack, and he's about to commit seppuku because he's failed in his mission as a samurai. The ghosts of samurai are observing and one is poised to remove his head and give him a quick death after he stabs himself in the stomach. Its gone all dragon ball z, I never thought they'd carry it this far, but instead of being stale, its actually awesome . Especially since samurai jack was something I watched as a child , but now there's these slightly more mature elements in it, which is cool because it helps create this sense samurai jack himself has aged and matured . Now he's killing humans instead of robots, contemplating suicide, and allied with a hot ninja girl who's the daughter of his arch nemesis. The females have that improbable Jetsons thing going on with their waists, which is relatively nostalgic stylistically. There's a scene where you see ashi naked behind the waterfall, after she scrapes the black taint of aku off her skin. Its totally badass, very artistic . Better than any anime I've ever seen on toonami.
